In many Asian countries celebrating water lantern festivals, people typically purchase small floating floral lanterns and release them into rivers during the event while silently making wishes. As the lanterns drift away with the current, it symbolizes the release of misfortune and worries, welcoming renewal and hope.
While small traditional floating lanterns focus on personal festive experiences, our floating water lanterns serve as stunning visual spectacles—the ideal attraction for scenic spots and event organizers to boost visitor engagement.The lanterns in the water can reflect bright colors. How to build floating Chinese lantern
We usually recommend water exhibitions for venues that meet the conditions, as this method may be more popular among tourists, and can even be used for water shuttle by boat. We can pair lanterns with smoke and fountains to make the scene more romantic.

Pairing with smoke and fountains, the Blue Lotus Lantern Festival in the scenic area becomes even more romantic, attracting tourists to stop and watch. The smoke effect can add a dreamlike atmosphere to the lantern festival, making visitors feel as if they are in a mysterious fairyland. Smoke machines can improve the visual effect. They make the lantern floats on the water look more charming in the swirling smoke. This also creates a great background for tourists to take photos and remember the moment.
Of course, the addition of such equipment, while enhancing the experience, also poses a great challenge to our construction. We need to consider the stability, safety, and harmony of the equipment with the surrounding environment. Additionally, we need to precisely control the effects of smoke and fountains to ensure they blend perfectly with the lantern display.
In this project, we utilize a substantial array of smoke-generating equipment in conjunction with lanterns to create a mesmerizing ambiance. Given the significant distance, ranging from tens of meters, between the water and the shoreline, a waterproof FRP distribution cabinet is imperative. This cabinet must be equipped with a time control switch to facilitate precise timing and management of the effects. Additionally, considering the extensive use of equipment, a robust power load capacity is essential to ensure the seamless operation of the installation.
Despite this, we are happy to accept these challenges because they make our exhibitions more unique and unforgettable. By continuously exploring and innovating, we are committed to providing customers with more exciting and challenging exhibition experiences.
How to make a floating lantern
The welding of the water lantern is almost the same as that of the ordinary lantern, and the craftsmen are welding for the water exhibition!
The artist’s color spray is the icing on the cake of Chinese floating lanterns. Even the color of flowers is extremely complicated.
Installation on the water, the preliminary work is tedious. Underwater fixing, water bearing buoy, debugging the height of the buoy to achieve the most beautiful effect!
We usually have smoke and fountains in the water lanterns. Although the installation of spray and fountains is quite difficult, but the night light shines on the smoke effect is excellent!
